QuestLife (“QuestLife”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a gamified habit-tracking mobile application developed and operated by Axiosyn, an independent developer. Axiosyn is the data controller responsible for your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.

We only collect the data needed to run the game and your account. Specifically:
Only if you choose to connect Health Connect, QuestLife reads (never writes) your steps, exercise sessions and sleep sessions from Android Health Connect, which holds data from your phone, watch or fitness apps. On your device we ignore entries that were typed in by hand and combine the rest into daily totals. Only those totals are saved to your account: steps per day, number and minutes of workouts per day, minutes slept per night and the time that night’s sleep began. Detailed records (individual sessions, sleep stages, heart rate or locations) are never uploaded.
We use these totals only to run game features you can see: step and workout rewards (stats, XP and coins), quests that complete themselves, achievements, weekly bounties and your private Chronicle. Health data is never shown to other players (including on shared hero links), never used for advertising, never sold, and never used for credit, insurance or employment decisions. QuestLife is a game, not a medical device, and gives no medical advice. You can disconnect at any time in the app (Profile → Health Connect) or in Health Connect’s own settings; your saved daily totals are deleted with your account. Our use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
QuestLife offers optional in-app purchases — consumable diamond packs and the QuestLife Plus subscription. If you make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play, with purchase validation by our provider (RevenueCat). We receive confirmation of your purchase and entitlement status (what you bought and whether your subscription is active) so we can grant your diamonds or Plus features, but we never receive or store your payment card details. Google Play handles all billing.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers (“sub-processors”) that are necessary to operate QuestLife, and only to the extent required:

If you use “Share my hero”, QuestLife creates a link to a public page showing your hero. Anyone who has the link — on the web or in the app — can see your username, your hero’s appearance, and whether you are a QuestLife Plus member. They cannot see your email address, level, stats, habits, or any other account data. Each player has one link; sharing again updates what it shows, and a username change appears on it too. The link stops working when you delete your account. Only share it with people you are happy to show your username to.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see “Your Rights” below), your account and associated personal data are permanently removed from our live systems immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. We may retain a minimal amount of information for longer only where required to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.
Your account and gameplay data are stored by Supabase in the European Union (Ireland). Some of our other providers (for example RevenueCat, Expo, Resend and Google) may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, our providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

You can delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app: open Profile → Delete Account, then confirm. For any other request, or to delete your account without using the app, see our Account & Data Deletion page or email axiosyn@gmail.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level access controls that ensure each user can only access their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
QuestLife is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at axiosyn@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. The current version is always the one published on this page.
